The above link will take you to the Indianapolis Museum of Art's website featuring the exhibition of Andy Warhol's work, "Enterprises".

Andy Warhol was a Pop Artist, most widely known for his large, bright paintings of Campbell's Soup Cans, Self-Portrait paintings, and celebrity portraits. Warhol used photo silk screen to create his paintings revolutionizing the way artist created their art. Warhol's studio was called "The Factory" and hosted many celebrities and artists during its time.

The exhibition at the IMA will be the largest show of Warhol's work to date. It will showcase his self-portraits, commercial items, and celebrity portraits.

Update on Art To Remember

We've been hard at work in the art room over the past few weeks! Our first projects were completed and sent to Art To Remember. The Art To Remember company will be creating a packet for each child based on their artwork that will then be sent back here to me at school. These packets will be going home on October 15. Parents will have the opportunity to purchase their child's artwork printed on various objects including, pot holders, coffee mugs, t-shirts, etc. Purchase order forms will then be sent back to school and finally sent to Art To Remember. Orders will then be sent back here to school and back home to enjoy before Christmas break! Here are a few dates you might need to remember for each deadline:

October 15: Art To Remember packets sent home for parents to review
October 27: Orders with payments and any unwanted magnets sent back to school (this is the deadline, of course any early orders are welcome)

Completed order return date is TBA, but will be before Christmas Break!
